Loren Etkin is interested in studio or performance work that will challenge him as a drummer. He enjoys learning new material and working with new faces. As a musician with over 40 years of experience, it’s good to keep things fresh. This drive has led Loren to travel the world, learning an extensive list of styles as a result.
He has been described as a “utility drummer”, as he is able to play whatever is set before him. Loren has played fill in for numerous bands of varying genres, a list of which can be found here.
In addition to being a performer, Loren has written and produced his own CD, Loren Etkin and Friends: Percussion Discussion. Loren also worked on the album Rollin’ with the Blues Boss with highly acclaimed Blues musician, Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne.
